Background

Toby Mautz grew up in New Hampshire and attended Boston College for undergraduate and graduate studies. Toby has been an LICSW since 1996. His understanding and expertise in both clinical and experiential techniques have allowed him to develop into a highly interactive and effective clinician and clinical leader. Over the past 30 years Toby specialized in chronic pain, addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and dual-diagnosis issues. Toby’s understanding of chronic pain is both professional and personal as his family has been impacted by significant injury and the challenges these create. His own life experiences and travel have greatly enhanced his own self development and professional work. Toby is the proud father of three and enjoy’s adventuring and staying active with his family and daughters.

Founder Jen Kljajic and Toby Mautz have worked closely in leadership for the past 4 years at a mission based telehealth tech company called Lucid Lane that worked towards providing a comprehensive tech-enabled solution for chronic pain management, transitional pain services, and symptoms based medication tapering with continuous support for any psychological distress, health monitoring and personalized collaborative treatment planning with patient’s physicians and real time interventions. 

Toby and Jen are here to support individuals, their families and doctors through chronic pain, surgery, and medication tapering when needed. It is our mission that no person is fast tapered inappropriately and that if it is warranted or desired by an individual they are provided with advocacy and support for slow symptoms based taper per the Health and Human Services Guidelines for Opioids and Ashton Manual for Benzodiazepines per the Benzodiazepine Information Coalition.
